Delivery Policy


All our stated website prices include delivery fees and VAT
* Certain exclusions do apply to orders which weigh more than 2kg to non-standard delivery areas. These areas may incur a surcharge for delivery of your complete order. A breakdown and map of these areas are listed below. This offer does not apply to trade account orders.



POSTAL AND COURIER INFORMATION

All orders of items over 2kg in weight and/or measure over 900mm in length will be sent by a courier service at no additional charge to mainland UK areas subject to surcharges where applicable. All other orders to mainland UK addresses that do not fit outside these dimensions are despatched via a Royal Mail postal service.


Most of our our orders are sent direct from our warehouse in Plymouth but we may elect to send a particular item direct from the manufacturer to you on a home delivery service at no additional charge.


Please be rest assured that we have carefully selected our couriers to ensure we can provide our customers with a quick, damage free experience at excellent value. We consistently evaluate our carrier partners to ensure that transit damages are kept at an absolute minimum.


We aim to provide courier tracking numbers for ALL ORDERS. We believe this transparency is vital for our customers to be able to follow their parcels on their journey . The tracking number will be e-mailed to you upon the despatch of your order.

DESPATCH AND DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER


The despatch time for each product is displayed on the individual item page for your reference.
We aim to despatch items in stock within 1 working day. Please note the despatch time may be longer on certain items, door styles and sizes which may need to be ordered in or sent directly from the manufacturer.


Upon despatch of your ordered items, an e-mail will be sent to you notifying you of the despatch of your package(s) and will contain important consignment details (tracking numbers, contact details) for your reference. Please keep this e-mail for your records. 


Please note that we are unable to authorise the order to be 'left in a safe place' (e.g in bins, sheds or over a fence) and actively encourage our couriers not to never do this for our orders.


We use the following shipping services for our items, with the following shipping times for each service:


Royal Mail 48 (2nd Class): 3-5 working days shipping time

Royal Mail 24 (1st Class): 1-2 working days shipping time

Royal Mail Tracked 48: 2 working days shipping time

Courier - DX, DPD or Yodel (24 hour service): 1 working days shipping time


The delivery service used depends on a variety of factors including the weight and size of the item, value and customer preference at point of order. 


We can also offer the following delivery options for courier deliveries only (surcharges will apply):

 

  • Timed delivery - extra cost will be incurred, please enquire prior to placing your order (excluding pallet deliveries) 

  • Saturday delivery - extra cost will be incurred, please enquire prior to placing your order (excluding pallet deliveries)




PALLET SERVICES

Please be advised that for orders containing 2 or more doors we may elect to deliver the doors using a palletised service.


This service will only deliver your order to the road/kerbside as close to your property as possible using a tail lift, and the courier will not be able to assist with the unloading of the doors from the pallet itself. The pallet will not be taken away by the courier.


The courier will be asked to contact you ahead of delivery, therefore a valid telephone number will be required. All palletised deliveries require a signature to confirm that the goods have been delivered without damage.


Should this delivery arrangement not be suitable for you, or in the event of there being access restrictions to your delivery address, please contact us prior to placing your order. 



DELIVERY DAMAGES

We take great care in packaging our doors for safe delivery to you, however occasionally damage can unfortunately occur in transit. If the packaging is lightly damaged please do not sign for the delivery as your signature is deemed acceptance of the delivery in 'Good condition'.


If in doubt, you should ensure the delivery driver marks the delivery as 'Damaged'. Please photograph the package at this stage. Please do not sign for them 'Unchecked' as this is not acceptable. It is better to refuse delivery than to subsequently find the goods unsatisfactory.


We request that any shortages and/or damages be reported within 48 hours where possible, but within a maximum of 14 days from receipt. Claims reported after 14 days may be rejected. You will be required to provide photograph evidence of the damage.


If you instruct us to deliver to an alternative address then whoever signs for receipt of the goods at that address shall be deemed to be your agent and acting for you. 


Please remember to open the package carefully and check the condition of the goods before installing or fitting.


It is recommended when planning installation that you do not book tradesman until you are in full receipt and completely satisfied with your goods. We cannot accept liability for expenses incurred if delays should occur.

DELIVERY AREAS AND ORDERS THAT WEIGH OVER 2KG

Orders that weigh over 2kg and/or measure over 900mm in length may be subject to a surcharge for deliveries to the following UK regions:


  • Northern Ireland (All BT postcodes)

  • Scottish Grampians (All AB postcodes)

  • Scottish Highlands (All IV, KW, FK (19-21), KA (27-30), PA (20-40) and PH (8-50) postcodes)

  • Scottish Offshore Islands inc Shetlands (All ZE, HS and PA (42-88) postcodes)

  • Isle of Man (All IM postcodes)

  • Scilly Isles (All TR21-TR25 postcodes)

  • Channel Islands (All JE and GY postcodes)

  • Isle of Wight (All PO31-PO40 postcodes)

 

Pallet deliveries of approximately 2+ doors (excluding cabinet and louvre doors) to the following areas may also be subject to surcharges: 

  • All areas above

  • Central London (All N, NE, NW, W, SW, S, SE, E postcodes except E4)


Please note that surcharge pricing may vary depending on your order and your region. Surcharges are capped at £50.00 (excluding pallets).
