    • Specially designed for UK homes and is available for all standard UK door sizes (both imperial and metric) from 610mm to 1026mm width

    WHY CHOOSE A POCKET DOOR?

    Pocket doors are a modern, practical and increasingly on trend for a wide range of UK domestic and commercial properties. These kits are ideal an alternative to traditional hinged (swing) doors and save up to 0.65m² per room. This is especially ideal in compact modern urban apartments, flats and properties as well as in loft conversions and any areas where space will be at a premium. 

    Although they have long been popular throughout continental Europe, pocket door kits like this are stating to be used in many UK properties over the last few years. This kit has been designed specifically for the UK market and come with a 114mm finished width to accommodate standard UK door sizes and stud wall solutions.

    The unique design which incorporates a sliding door within a door cavity results not only in saved floor space but also make access easier especially for wheelchair users.

    As the door is not included, pocket door systems are completely customisable and allow you to match the sliding door with the other doors in your home whether they are bi folding doors or traditional swing/hinged doors. You can even use glazed doors and when open the door can be set to be either flush with the jambs and architrave or protrude.

    PLEASE NOTE: Your pocket door kit has been designed to be installed by competent DIY enthusiasts using the correct tools and adherence to safety. If in any doubt, please seek the advice of a building professional.


    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

    Safety must always be your primary concern during the assembly, isntallation and operation of your pocket door. Always be aware of the risks involved with moving parts and installation. If in doubt please seek further assistance before proceeding.

    • If at any time, a component of your pocket door works loose, correct it immediately

    • Working with tools of any kind can be dangerous. Your pocket door requires some basic assembly with hand tools. If in any doubt about how to use these tools correctly, please seek advice from a suitably experienced person

    • Always ensure that other personnel in the immediate vicinity are aware of any fitting operations that will be occurring. Check there are no loose components or tools likely to fall and cause injury during the fitting operation. Where possible, all assembly work should be completed at ground level

    • Ensure protective gloves are worn when handling the pocket door frame components

    • Always use the correct and appropriate equipment

    All of our stated prices are inclusive of VAT and delivery fees (except for trade account deliveries)

    Orders that weigh over 2kg and/or measure over 900mm in length may be subject to a surcharge for deliveries to the following UK regions:

    • Scottish Highlands (All IV, KW, FK (19-21), KA (27-30), PA (20-40) and PH (8-50) postcodes)

    Pallet deliveries of approximately 5+ doors (excluding cabinet and louvre doors) to the following areas may also be subject to surcharges:

    Please note that surcharge pricing may vary depending on your order and your region. Surcharges are capped at £50.00 (excluding pallets). Please contact us for detailed pricing for your order if you wish to receive delivery to any of the above areas. 

    Please be advised that orders for 2 or more doors may be delivered using a palletised service.
    This service will only deliver your order to the road/kerbside as close to your property as possible using a tail lift, and the courier will not be able to assist with the unloading of the doors from the pallet itself. The pallet will not be taken away by the courier. The courier will be asked to contact you ahead of delivery, therefore a valid telephone number will be required. All palletised deliveries require a signature to confirm that the goods have been delivered without damage. Should this delivery arrangement not be suitable for you, or in the event of there being access restrictions to your delivery address, please contact us prior to placing your order. Please read our delivery policy for further information.

    On the rare occasion an item offers a Collection Only service and cannot be delivered using traditional methods, the item will have a Collection Only message displayed next to the price on that particular listing.

    We would love all our customers to be happy with their purchases. However, should you wish to return your order for any reason, please read the following:
     
    • Returns are accepted with the exception of Special Order items, if they are sent back to us in the original packaging within 30 days of receipt

    • All goods MUST be inspected for any damage in accordance with our Delivery Policy, and we kindly request that any claims for damage be reported via email to us within 48 hours of receipt but within a maximum of 30 days from receipt. Where there is evidence of damage to the outer transit packaging you must mark the delivery as “Damaged“ when signing for it

    • Should you choose to return your order for reasons other than damage/defect, please include a completed returns form within your parcel

    • No statutory cancellation rights apply to products that have been specifically made to your requirements, design or measurements

    • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of any returned items
